Romania is located in Eastern Central Europe. It is bordered by Bulgaria, Hungary, Moldova, Serbia and Ukraine. Romania's economy has grown since the fall of the Soviet Union, it had to overcome an obsolete industrial base and poor infrastructure. It is now one of the fastest growing economies in the European Union. The services sector is the largest sector, but the primary sector is still a big employer. Romania has introduced very low personal and corporate income taxes, which has made it very competitive in attracting foreign companies.
