Biography: 

Mustafa Abdul Jalil was born in Bayda, Libya, in 1952. He is the current Chairman of the National Transitional Council of Libya. He studied at the University of Libya. In 2007 he was named Justice Minister of Libya a post he held until February 2011, when he joined the rebellion against the Gaddafi regime. He became the leader of the rebellion on March 5th 2011.
