Current Situation

Italy is located in Southern Europe. Italy is bordered by Austria, France, San Marino, Slovenia, Switzerland and Vatican City. Italy's economy is strong, but it has a very low growth rate, and inefficient administration and a high level of corruption compared to other G7 countries. Italy has many multinational companies in many fields, notably in automobile manufacturing and design and also Italy is renowned for its fashion design companies. Italy is currently fragile due to the recent European Debt Crisis, in which Italy was a leading worry because of its high debt and high deficits.
