Pratibha Patil was born in Nadgaon, India, in 1934. She is the current and first woman President of India. She holds a law degree and a master's degree in political science and economics. Before becoming president, she had a long and distinguished political career holding several important ministerial posts. She was nominated for the presidency in 2007 and she eventually won the elections.

Biography:

Manmohan Singh was born in Gah, Pakistan, in 1932. He is the current Prime Minister of India. He studied economics at the Punjab University in Chandigarh, he also studied at Cambridge and Oxford universities. Before becoming prime minister he was Governor of the Reserve Bank of India, he was also the Deputy Chairman of the Planning Commission of India. He also served as the Finance Minister from 1991 to 1996. He became prime minister in 2004 after being nominated by his political party.
