Biography: 



Laszlo Solyom was born in Pecs, Hungary, in 1942. He is the current President of Hungary. He

studied law at the University of Pecs. He is active within Hungarian environmental groups. In

1989 he joined the Constitutional Court of Hungary, and became it's president in 1990, he was an

important figure in shaping Hungary's legal policies during his time at the court. He was also a

university lecturer. He was elected president by the Parliament of Hungary in 2005.

Viktor Orban was born Szekesfehervar, Hungary, in 1963. He is the current Prime Minister of

Hungary, serving for a second term. He studied law at the Eotvos Lorand University in Budapest.

He joined politics in 1988 when he helped found the Fidesz party. He was elected prime minister

in 1998 as part of a coalition until 2002. He then served in the opposition until forming a new

government in 2010.
