Côte d'Ivoire is located in west Africa, it is bordered by Liberia, Guinea, Mali, Burkina Faso and Ghana. Côte d'Ivoire's economy is largely based on agriculture. Côte d'Ivoire has been affected by a civil war and several coups d'état in the last few years.
